Accounts, Sales Tax filings
Responsible for maintaining the general ledger accounts, all business transactions of the organization, Preparation and finalization of balance sheet, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports. Responsibilities will also include creating for each project, matrix of costs estimations, revenue estimations, analyzing trends of costs & revenues, budgeting to meet financial commitments relevant to each project, and charting data to predict future revenues and expenses. Candidate should have knowledge on applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) on an accrual basis including thorough review of financial records. Preparing reports on organization's finances, resource utilization, tax strategies and budget forecasts. Preparing depreciation charts of fixed assets, accounts receivable forecasts, all department commission reports, all sales tax filings, bank reconciliations, cash report, invoicing and adherence to department deadlines
Will also be responsible for managing accounting and auditing engagements including:
- Preparation of complex work papers
- Work paper review
- Report preparation
- Client communications and coordination of the delivery of all firm services
- Tax and Consulting
Bachelors or foreign equivalency in Accounting. In lieu of Bachelor’s degree a Master’s degree in Business or MBA is preferred for the position.
Key Skills: Well versed with Intuit System and good knowledge of IT business functioning. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
