Description :

This position is responsible for performing software testing for Business Intelligence applications.    You will be creating and maintaining manual test cases from requirements documentation and technical specifications.   A QA Analyst performs the following: (1) reviews business requirements and functional documentation to develop test plans; (2) develops and executes tests and provides input on documentation of project test results and issues with Quality Assurance team members and produces reports and test processes; (3) oversees project defect database; (4) provides and adjusts estimates on tasks before and during the product development cycle. 

• Develops and executes manual test plans using HP Quality Center, TOAD, BI and Oracle applications. Works under the supervision of the QA Manager and Sr QA Analyst
• Verifies Ad-hoc OBIEE dashboard reports and completes the validation from source to target
• Reviews requirement documents and creates test cases to ensure all new/existing functionality is properly tested; submit accurate defects with clear, repeatable steps, analyzes defects to ascertain sources and nature of defects
• Provides time estimates of completion of tests, and tracks progression of product through the Quality Assurance testing process. Communicates with other Quality Assurance resources, Business Analysts, Development, and User Community to ensure that QA issues are documented, tested, and applied to established product development timelines and guidelines

Functional Competencies

• 3-4 years of proven OBIEE/Data Warehousing and Oracle EBS QA experience with a working knowledge of HP Quality Center or other test management application. Understanding of Data warehousing and OBIEE concepts. 
• Ability to create medium to complex sql scripts to validate data
• Ability to create ad-hoc OBIEE reports
• TOAD, sql, Oracle, AWS RedShift, Unix, HPQC
• Ability to analyze Oracle sql (specifically aggregate functions), plsql packages and procedures
• Working within the Agile delivery methodology/team is a plus
• Excellent time management skills
• Good organizational skills
